The DongCheng HD116136 36" (900mm) Cable Cutter is the highest-capacity manual cable cutter in the industrial lineup, built for utility linemen, infrastructure electrical engineers, and heavy commercial contractors. Engineered with blades drop-forged from premium 65Mn spring alloy steel, the blades feature full-body heat treatment and induction-quenched cutting edges for high tensile strength and long-lasting edge retention.

Its massive 900mm dual lever arms provide tremendous compound cutting leverage, allowing operators to slice cleanly through massive copper and aluminum power cables up to 450mm². The curved shearing jaws cradle thick multi-strand cables to ensure flush, clean cuts ready for heavy-duty terminal lugs. Strictly intended for non-ferrous power cables; not for cutting ACSR, wire rope, or steel strands. Packaged in a protective paper box.

Key Features

Maximum 450mm² Shearing Capacity: Handles thick utility cables and high-capacity electrical mains conductors.
Premium 65Mn Alloy Steel Blades: High-strength spring steel blades resist edge chipping and warping under intense cutting pressure.
Induction-Quenched Cutting Edges: Induction-hardened edge treatment ensures edge life across repeated heavy cuts.
Long 36" (900mm) Leverage Arms: Extended arms provide compound cutting power to slice massive cross-sections.
Dedicated Non-Ferrous Cutter: Engineered specifically for copper and aluminum conductors (not for ACSR or steel wire rope).
Protective Paper Box: Shipped in a heavy-duty box for storage and transit.

Applications

Slicing heavy utility transmission cables, municipal power lines, and grid feeds
Industrial plant power stations, main transformers, and generator feeder lines
Major commercial solar and wind turbine balance-of-system electrical feeds
Shipboard power systems and mass transit electrical distribution lines
