The Falcon Premium Long Reach Cut & Hold FPLR-22 is a practical long-reach gardening pruner designed for cutting branches and stems that are difficult to access with conventional hand pruners. With its 420mm overall length, the tool provides additional reach for pruning plants, shrubs and branches while helping the user work comfortably from the ground.

The FPLR-22 incorporates a cut-and-hold mechanism, allowing the tool to grip the cut branch or stem after cutting. This is especially useful when pruning in dense foliage or at difficult angles because the cut material can be retained instead of immediately falling into the surrounding plants or ground. Falcon describes the model as ideal for hard-to-reach branches.

The pruner has a specified 10mm cutting capacity, making it suitable for appropriately sized branches, stems, shoots and green growth. Its lightweight, easy-to-use construction makes it suitable for regular gardening, horticultural and nursery maintenance. Falcon's official product information also specifies a 200mm extension length and an aluminum alloy holder.

The FPLR-22 is particularly useful where extra reach is required without using a ladder or stepping directly into dense planting areas. It can be used for garden maintenance, shrub pruning, plant shaping, nursery work and trimming high or difficult-to-reach growth.
