The Fein ABLK 18 1.6 E AS N00 71321161000 is a professional 18V cordless nibbler designed for precise, efficient and highly maneuverable cutting of trapezoidal sheet metal, corrugated sheet metal and metal profiles. Its compact construction and excellent curve capability make it especially suitable for roofing and façade construction, as well as professional sheet-metal fabrication and installation work.
Powered by a proven FEIN MultiMaster motor, the nibbler provides a cutting speed of 1.5 m/min and delivers dependable performance for demanding sheet-metal applications. It can cut steel up to 1.6 mm at 400 N/mm², 1.0 mm at 600 N/mm², and 0.7 mm at 800 N/mm². It can also cut non-ferrous metals up to 2.5 mm at 250 N/mm².
The tool-free pivoting cutting head allows the cutting direction to be adjusted through 360° in 45° increments. This provides excellent flexibility when following curves, profiles and difficult cutting paths. The extremely slim gearbox head improves handling and visibility, making the tool comfortable to guide during detailed sheet-metal work.
The integrated QuickIN system allows the punch and die to be changed quickly. The rotating round punch can provide up to 30% longer service life, while the punch and die can be replaced independently to help reduce operating costs. The electronically adjustable stroke speed also allows the cutting performance to be adapted to different materials and working conditions.
With a 5 mm cutting width, 22 mm immersion diameter and minimum curve radius of 30 mm inside / 35 mm outside, the ABLK 18 1.6 E AS offers excellent control for curved, profile and interior cutting applications. FEIN specifies approximately 66 m of cutting capacity in 0.8 mm sheet metal with one 5 Ah battery charge.
The tool is part of the 18V AMPShare battery system and is compatible with Li-ion and ProCORE Li-ion batteries. Battery technology incorporates COOLPACK for improved battery life and ECP protection against overload, overheating and total discharge.
