The core drill uses high-speed steel (HSS) construction for durability and resistance to impact and shock. FEIN's HSS Nova version features 64 HRC cutting edges and is designed for reliable drilling in S235 structural steel and aluminium, while the HSS Dura version adds a TiN coating for increased wear resistance and is suitable for steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
The QuickIN core drill holder allows the bit to be used with compatible FEIN magnetic drilling machines.
The compact makes this bit useful for creating relatively small, precise holes while retaining the efficiency advantages of annular core drilling.
