The Pilot SBG-03G is an air-powered sand blasting gun for removing old paint, rust and corrosion and for refinishing metal surfaces. It blasts abrasive at the surface with compressed air and cleans much faster than scraping or wire brushing.
It works on small areas such as parts, joints and corners, and on larger surfaces such as panels, frames and fabricated structures. The gun is made in two types, gravity and suction, so buyers can pick the feed type that suits their work. This listing is the SBG-03G model.
It has a 4 mm nozzle and runs on a 2 HP air compressor at about 4 kg/sq.cm of pressure. Air use is 212 litres per minute (7.5 cfm), so a small to medium workshop compressor can run it. At 435 g it is light enough to hold for long jobs.
