The Fein CCG 18-125-12 PD-SEC AS Set ProCore is a professional 18V cordless angle grinder from the FEIN PROTAGO range, engineered for powerful cutting, grinding and surface-finishing applications with a strong focus on operator safety and controlled handling.
Powered by a brushless FEIN Power Drive motor and the 18V AMPShare battery system, this 125mm cordless grinder delivers a variable no-load speed of 2,500–8,500 RPM. Its electronic speed preselection allows the working speed to be matched to different materials and applications. The grinder uses 125mm grinding discs, 125mm elastic backing pads and an M14 spindle/flange.
The PROTAGO safety concept combines two-hand operation, AutoStop dead-man switch, permanently fitted auxiliary handle, non-removable safety hood and kickback monitoring. Additional protection is provided by soft start, restart protection, electronic overload protection, blockage monitoring and a braking function.
The fully enclosed motor housing helps protect the motor from aggressive ceramic and mineral dust. FEIN also incorporates cooling ribs and temperature monitoring for improved durability. The motor is decoupled from the housing and supported by vibration dampers to help provide smoother, lower-vibration operation.
